Hi Justin,
Excellent response. You stated all I would have in a concise manner. Job
experience is a wonderful thing but I am learning much more on my home lab.
I've been working in networking for the past 16 years. Starting with
Computer Operations right up
till now with daily hands on Cisco routers and switches and all that goes
with a large global organization. We employ - EIGRP, RIP to external
clients and the simpliest BGP config to ISP's. As everyone knows, just try
to learn on a production network! Unemployment will be your next-hop
address. How many organizations employ all the needed technologies to pass
the CCIE lab? Without countless hours on my home rack I would
have no chance. So I am proud to consider myself
the aformentioned lab rat and congratulate your work and study habits. Best
of luck.
Danny
