Donny,

Do all your CAM and ARP entries look right on the various Cisco devices?
Anything showing up in the logs?

Subject: OT : intermittent connection lost in 4006

Hi Guys,

sorry to bother you but I'm stuck on this one. Has any one of you ever had
an issue with a 4006 dropping packet intermittently ? like host A can ping
server B but host C on the same segment as host A failed to do so. Moreover
all host in server B's vlan
are able to ping server B ?
And sometimes HSRP standby 4006 L3 switch can't ping server B as well ???

Both 4006 form a serverfarm and are connected to 2 6509 core switch. It's
been running fine for almost 2 years until a few recent months we've been
having this annoying problem. I've searched COO and the closest thing I can
found is CSCds38973 and
CSCdt80707, but it should not happen for my CatOS, as it's version is
6.2(2).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Donny
