I think the problem is different. I suppose your RIP and ospf is running under the same major network ? If so try debug ip ospf monitor to see what LSA is keeping your OSPF demand circuit flapping.
Usually under such case, I would filter the ISDN ospf route from being distribute back from RIP to OSPF (both the subnet and the host route is filtered) so I dont' have any problem with that setup.
I'm not sure why passive interface solve the problem....perhaps other can add. can't test now as I dont' have a router close bye.

Hi Donny,
Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, when I try
to put "no peer neighbor-route" on isdn interface at
both site in RIP-OSPF ASBR, it doesn't work. The isdn
still flaps caused by ospf broadcast packet.
In fact, it can be solved by setting the bri interface
to passive-interface under router rip.
I'm little bit confuse now :D
