Guys,

I'm trying to find a doc on CCO that can explain what the differences are between these two tunnel modes and I am not having any luck. Does anyone know of a link? One difference I did notice, although a minor one, is that with IPIP you can ping both ends of the tunnel and with GRE you can only ping the remote end, not the local end. Again, a minor one, but a difference nonetheless.
