Connie,
Make sure that you set the dialer idle-timout on the remote end to 0. If
you don't disable it the remote end may be dropping the call at the end of
its timeout. When the link is dropped, the DW side will attempt to dial
again. Also, make sure you are using IOS 12.1(7) or later. There were some
bugs in previous versions. Post configs if that doesn't fix it.
