but... errdisable can appear for example when channels are negotiating for
the first time. That behaviour is undesireable and the command you mentioned
would help in many other cases too I suspect i.e. ports goes into errdisable
unexpectedly and without known errors being seen.

It is a temporary fix and does not fix the root cause of the errdisable.
