You need to read the documentation for the switch:

Take a look at Chapter 4, "Assigning the Switch IP Address and Default
Gateway."

Without configuring any new VLANs a simple config would be:

conf t
int vlan 1
ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0

Now connect a host on the same subnet to one of your VLAN 1 ports and
off you go.
