When you typed "ip split-horizon eigrp X" it didn't show up in the
running configuration because EIGRP split-horizon is enabled by default.
Only split-horizon relating to RIP and IGRP is disabled by default on a
physical Frame-relay or ATM interface.
To view split-horizon relating to RIP and IGRP use the "show ip
interface" command. To view EIGRP split-horizon, look at the running
configuration. EIGRP split-horizon will only show up in the
configuration if you manually disable it.
