Hello Group,

Anybody got this setup working ???

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/471/103.html

Need to test L2TP configuration but due to lack of resources, telephone
lines/modems etch, thought I'll have chance to test it anyway given the
setup .... but no luck until now.

I'm quite confused with the cablings being used. What I have right now are
these:

PCwin2k(com1)-->DB9/RJ45(terminal)-->straightcable-->RJ45/DB25(terminal)-->D
25/RJ45(modem)-->rolledcable-->Router(aux)

Do I have the correct combinations or I'm having it wrongly ???

The router is configured as follows:
!
interface Async129
 ip unnumbered Ethernet0/0
 encapsulation ppp
 async mode interactive
 peer default ip address pool DIALUP
 ppp authentication chap
!
ip local pool DIALUP 10.0.100.1 10.0.100.10
!
line aux 0
 login local
 modem InOut
 transport input all
 autoselect during-login
 autoselect ppp
 stopbits 1

 R1#sh line
   Tty Typ Tx/Rx A Modem Roty AccO AccI Uses Noise Overruns
Int
* 0 CTY - - - - - 0 0
0 -
* 129 AUX 300/300 - inout - - - 0 0
0 -
   130 VTY - - - - - 0 0
0 -

I would appreciate any comments and suggestions.

Thanks and kind regards,
-Neil
