Well, Opinion vary on this subject,,
But if you want to be safe in the lab,, DO NOT USE ANY DEFAULT route of any
kind,

Which means if you do sh ip route ,, *0.0.0.0 entry should not be there. No
matter what.

For things like, default-information-originate -- question will tell you to
use this command.

-- ..originate default route to ospf neighbor Y..... Or something like it.

Do not use it unless you see something like this in the question.

Just my 2 cent..

Any other opinions??

I have a question for all seasoned test takers there -:-) When the
requirement says "default routes may not be used unless specifically
stated"----what exactly does it mean by default route-----ip route 0 0,
default-network, default-information-originate, or all of the above?
