Hi, group!
I ran into an interesting scenario which I am trying to figure out a way to
achieve load-balancing but failed.
Ospf area
0------R1--------------L1-----------------R2--------------L2----------------
-R3-------ospf area 0
R2 is an L1/L2 router that forms L1 adjacency with R1 and L2 adjacency with
R3 (per requirement of IPExpert Lab 28). R1 and R3 both connect to OSPF
area 0 and are redistributing ospf routes into ISIS. The problem I am having
right now is that since R1 redistribute OSPF routes as L1 routes and R3
redist. Ospf routes as L2 routes, R2 is preferring the path to R1 rather
than load-balancing between the two-----which I would prefer R2 to do since
the paths to R1 and R3 are equal cost. Is there any way to manipulate the
metric somehow to achieve load-balancing?
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thank you all very much!
Regards,
Connie
