Thanks Brian. I tried this on 1 of my 4006s the other day and did notice it
would take a large
number. I will still check into the RFC because it would seem to me if the
round-trip time is higher
than any upper-layer protocol timeouts the the network would not be usable
for any practical purposes. I don't want to even guess why Windows XP would
allow a > 24 day reply. Must have
been implemented by one of those MCSEs!
