Full duplex. 256kbps in each direction.

Hi,

Could somebody please confirm wheather leased line circuits are full or half

duplex. A colleague and I have been disussing the point that if you order a
256kbps circuit you actually get 256kbps in each direction, or 128kbps in
each direction, or 256kbps combined/half duplex. Can somebody let me know
which one is correct?
