RE: WCCP redirect out/in

If you apply it 'out' you apply it on the external interface (possibly
T-1 to www).... do not redirect it to the cache engine.

If you want to apply it 'in' then you apply it on all the internal
interfaces EXCLUDING the cache engine interface.

This is how I understand it at least.

Thanks,
scott

Subject: WCCP redirect out/in

All,

Please explain the ip wccp web-cache redirect out/ in.
I found some documentation just refering to "out" and
a document said using "in" is better and gives better
performance.

In a scnerio like this

    E0(Clients)
    --------R1-------------E2 ( Cache-Engine)
             |
             |
             |S1(Internet)

Where should I apply ip wccp web-cache redirect
out/in.
Will appreciate any help.

S K
