My understanding is that the Aironet productuct uses 802.11b and that it
functions similar to a 10 Meg Ethernet HUB. The number of users that you can
support on a 10 Meg CSMA/CA depends on the type of applications that you are
running. With todays applications I would think that number is between
25-50.
(There is an assumption that everything is perfect and you can run at 11
Meg)
There is an excellent Book called Cisco Wireless LAN put out by Syngress.
Authors are Eric Ouellet, Robert Padjen, Arthur Pfund, Ron Fuller and Tim
Blankenship.

Hi Group,
Sorry for the off topic question.
How many users can an aironet access point support ?For example if I have
500
users and all in one location how many aironets do I have to use (All in
different channels but at the same location)?
Thanks in advance
Fadil
