Sorry, didn't read the question thoroughly enough. There are 2 options I
can think of:

- Run a routing protocol between the 3550 and R2. I don't know if this is
allowed or not, but there's nothing in the question here that says you can't.

- Route map on R2

I was also thinking of LAM, but I don't think that's supported on the 3550.
