  That's odd. I tried to get a NM-1FE-TX to trunk on a 2610 and a 2621
with no errors, but it would not pass packets. I opened a TAC case and
was shipped a replacement mod. It also did not work. After further
discussions with the Cisco SE, it was discovered that the NM-1FE-TX was
not compatable with any 2600 router.

I was running 12.1 IOS at the time. Now with 12.2 you can trunk on a
10MB port, so maybe they also addressed the trunking issues on the
  NM-1FE mod as well.

My 1FE-FX works on the 2621 just fine and does all the trunking okay...

While the NM-1FE-TX will appear to work on the 2600 platforms. You will
run into issues when doing things like ISL trunking.

  That isn't exactly correct. I have a 2621 with a NM-1FE-TX in it and
running fine. I haven't been able to get the NM-1FE-2CT1-CSU to run in
  any of my 2600's though.

The card is not supported in the 26xx series...the 26xx can only support
  two
FE interfaces, and only if they are hardwired to the board, it does not
support any of the FE NMs.
