Gary,

    I think 'Features' refers to anything the router or switch can do that
isn't directly involved with moving a frame or packet from one interface to
another. Some examples I can think of might be:

SNMP management
DHCP server
CLI stuff, like timeouts and access classes on the lines, banners, etc.
Syslog, buffer logging
passwords, user accounts

There's more, but I think you get the idea.
