There are two in the lab. I took it on December 6th.
For study purposes I don't think you really would require two.

As a result of your posting, I checked the ccie lab equipment list Cisco has
posted. Previously, before swapping out the old Cat 5000 for the new Cat
3550, the lab only had 1 Cat 5000. But upon checking the equipment list,
Cisco listed "Cat 3550's" - plural. So, now I'm wondering, has Cisco
included more than 1 Cat 3550 in the exam?
