Hi there
In OSPF per interface authentication i understand that area and interface
can have different authentication scheme.
i am trying to understand this very clearly .. is it means each interface
in one ospf adjancy group can have separate authentication .
if R5 is hub , R6 , R7 and R8 are spokes..
R5 has only one subinterface , R6 , R7 and R8 dont have any
subinterface. .
can i have MD5 between R5 and R6
type 1 (plain) Between R5 and R7
type 0 (authentication null) between R5 and R8
i tried it didnt work.. as i understand to make ospf adjancy .. the
interface authentication should match.. any idea ..
regards
aa
