From DOC CD under Custom Queueing:
"The bandwidth that a custom queue will receive is given by the following
formula:
(queue byte count / total byte count of all queues) * bandwidth capacity of
the interface
where bandwidth capacity is equal to the interface bandwidth minus the
bandwidth for priority queues. "
So the math is rough if we dont know what the packet sizes of the protocol
are. Thats fine. Moving past that, to determine the "total byte count of
all queues" for the above formula, we need to know the default byte count for
the DEFAULT queue provided one is configured.
So if there is a default queue in Custom queueing configured, what is the
byte count? Without that, how can we possibly determine what the total byte
count of all queues for the formula??
Wasting way to much time on this.. But what the heck.
