Group,

I know this question has came up sometime before in this distribution
list. I hear all the time there are multiple ways to do one thing, but
you need to do the right way(Cisco way) when doing the lab.
Is there a model redistribution format to live by when doing different
redistribution types? Example: rip to ospf, eigrp to ospf, isis to ospf,
eigrp to rip, when to use distance, when not to use distance, when to
use tags, when not to use tags, when to use distribute-list, etc. In a
real world environment you would always want optimal routing, but in
most CCIE lab scenarios they have sub-optimal routing, with the end goal
of every interface reachable accomplished. Would this be acceptable in
the CCIE lab? I don't what to waste time trying to make optimal paths
for every route/router in the internetwork.

If someone has good redistribution notes or documents they can point me
to, it will be well appreciated. Any good sites to!

Thanks,

Patrick
