Hi,
Depends on your definition of load sharing and load balancing. BGP allows for redundancy and traffic engineering going in and out of the AS. You can balance your traffic out your links by manipulating localpref and prepend based on data collected of how much traffic is being pumped out for which AS destination.
BGP does not do per packet load sharing like OSPF or EIGRP if that was what your looking for.

Subject: BGP load sharing or load balancing
Could someone please expand as to whether BGP provides load sharing or load balancing?
Thanks
Gary
