Yes..... Very dissapointing, as the 2950 is the (according to Cisco)
preferred replacement for the 2900XL series, but we were using 2900XLs
to trunk ISL over to 1900s and it wasn't until we had 40 - 2950's
sitting on our doorstep that we found out that the 2950s only supports
dot1q.

The 1900 supports ISL only AFAIK. I just went through this with a 2950
and a 1924. The 1924 supports only ISL trunks, while the 2950 supports
only dot1.q. Meaning the two devices are completely incompatible. Very
disappointing.
