PPP Multilink

Hi Group,

Just a sanity check, can anyone in just a few words explain exactly what
PPP Multilink does, and the advantages as oppose to not having it on. And
also on a back up ISDN interface where you're expecting B channels to come
up as load increases and disconnect as load decreases, is it a wise idea to
have PPP Multilink configured, does it really matter to the end user (ie
experience measurable performance degradation).

The reason why I ask is that I think I have run into a bug where PPP
Multilink on a PRI link with a max capability of 10 B channels, I can only
get 2 B channels up, but without PPP Multilink I instantly get up to 8
channels up. So I was wandering how important is PPP Multilink in this
instance. Mind you I am also running crypto across this PRI link. Thank for
the help.

Regards Armen
