AFAIK, some versions of IOS cannot perform dynamic mapping on the called
site. (I don't remember which versions cant do it but most of the recent
ones can do it). If it cannot perform dynamic mapping you will need static
mapping with dialer map command. After establishing the connection , you try
"sh dialer map " if you see a mapping , you will not need dialer map. (but
you may still need it to define other arguments )
