I'm trying to setup two 2600s with a cisco rollover cable from AUX to
AUX, and simulate ISDN DDR with Dialer Profiles. I found in the
archives a working config that does this, but the 'interesting traffic'
to bring up the async interface can only be done in one direction. One
of the router configs AUX port has 'modem host' and the other has 'modem
dialin'. The chat script consists of " " (double quotes and a space).
I heard that a chat script can be written so that 'modem inout' can be
used on both sides. This combined with the AUX ports starting with an
EXEC session, and written so the script starts a PPP session can allow
both sides to bring up the line. Has anyone done this? I'm very green
on chat scripts, and was hoping someone else tried and succeeded here.
Thanks,
Rick.
