Darvin,
The 3550 is still new, but the lab hasn't changed too much. You've
still got to know IP and it's routing protocols inside and out. And the
other stuff too. So you still want to be reading the 2 Doyle books, the
Halabi BGP book, and the Caslow/Pavlichenko book. They're all great. I
haven't read the Solie or Parkhurst books, but they're supposedly pretty
good as well. Regarding the 3550, CCO is a great source for info on
features unique to it.
