It's been about three years since I took my lab so things may be different
now... My checklist was as follows:

Learn Everything =)

I know, it seems like a lot to cover, but I passed my first time so it must
have been an effective study method. Obviously you don't need to spend a
signficant amout of time on things like IS-IS, but you need to know what the
technology is, how it works, and most importantly, where to find the
configuration info you need on the CD very quickly. Learning the
documentation CD inside and out was one of the key elements in passing.

The second thing is RELAX. I've known people who were more knowledgeable
then me that failed just by the mere fact that they stressed themselves out.
I went in with the realization that the test was not impossible and didn't
let myself get bothered when I wasn't sure how to complete a step.
