Can I change the as-path?

BGP configuration:

R1---------------R2---------------------R3
AS1-------------AS2--------------------AS3

Assume a loopback interface 192.168.1.0 /24 on R1, and was advertised to R3.
The as-path on R3 should be 2-1,
can I change it to be 2 , as it is originated from AS2?
