Correct. You can trunk on 2600 and 3600 10mbit interfaces with the right
feature set. I think you can on some higher routers as well. It needs to
be 12.1.x or 12.0.xT or higher, and be a 'Plus' FS if I remember right. I'm
not sure what the starting digit for 'x' is though. Cisco either doesn't
recommend it for performance reasons, or because they'd rather sell you
something with a fastE interface. I'd be a little leery of doing in
production (although I've done it without problem in a couple places), but
for a test lab, it should work fine. Keep in mind that they might not
support all switching paths for a 10 mbit trunk. For instance, I don't
think you can do CEF on a trunk, unless you're running 12.2 or 12.2T.
