You only have 18 months to sit your FIRST attempt at the lab after
passing the written exam. After your first lab attempt you have 24
months to pass if you fail on your first time through.

Do you have to take written again if you passed in 2000. I took lab in
2001 and plan to take again this year. I wasn't sure if I needed to pass
written again though. I hope not.

It's changed considerably. I passed in 2000 as well, I just went again
last
November and missed by 2%. After my retake I went back to CCO and
discovered
that everything has changed quite a bit. My bad for assuming that
nothing
much had changed.

I like to know the best study material (book, etc..) for the CCIE
written
exam. My written has expired (passed it back in 2000) and was wondering
if
much has changed since then. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !
