As said in a post a little while back.....There could be one DR per
subnet...and there could be multiple subnets per area.....so multiple DRs
per area...

Can someone explain to me why an OSPF Area 0 will have multiple DRs? Yes,
multiple DRs and in the same area! It is happening on our network. This is
a
network with 5 Cat6509s running ios in a single OSPF Area topology, ie.,
just Area O. Pls some of you OSPF gurus enlighten me on this. Thanks.
