Hunt,
I recommend starting with Doyle's book. I read that and then did the
configuration examples he has. Also certificationzone.com has a
pretty descent paper on is-is. I found good info on Cisco's web site.
under the Technologies section. They have a whole section dedicated to
IS-IS.
