Yes I would recommend reading Doyle 1.....And also

on the documentation CD this should give you the majority of things that you'll need. This is what I've done and then searched for small specific areas I need clarified.

Would reading Doyle 1 be a good start for the preparation of ISIS for CCIE
lab? I have seen archive messages before saying that some bits of ISIS is
outside the scope of CCIE lab... but I can't seem to find that message
anymore =(
