ISIS Level Type

Dear All,

I've few question regarding ISIS level type.

1. If we use 'isis circuit-type' interface command, do we have use
'is-type' router command?
If yes, in what particular situation we need both commands?

2. After we use 'isis circuit-type' do we have to use 'clear clns
neighbor' command?
It seems to me that we have to use 'clear clns neighbor' command to
reflect level type changes in 'show clns neighbor'.
