Do you have an IP address on the interface? If an IP address isn't
configured on the interface IRDP will not be enabled.

HI,

I am trying to enable irdp on the ethernet interface of the router with
ip
irdp command.
Even after entering the command if i verify the same with show ip irdp
command
it say's that irdp is not enabled. Any suggestions ?
