Type "exit" and it should let you out of that mode. You've actually typed
the command "x2" which the router interprets as the "x28" command.
Router#?

Subject: Terminal Server hangs with Ctrl+Shift+6 x and 2
Hi all,
Once in a while I do this Ctrl+Shift+6 then X then 2 and my terminal
session hangs with * with any keys.
I can't access the terminal session again even if I close and reopen the
program. I'm using SecureCRT.
The only way back is to power down and reboot the router. Has anyone
seen this and the solution?
Thanks.
