When I was in San Jose recently for the security CCIE they made everyone
leave the lab at lunch.
What I recommend to my students is for them to spend 5 or 10 minutes
right before going to lunch to reread over the parts of the exam that
they haven't done. Then at lunch eat something real quick and spend the
rest of the time sitting by yourself thinking about what you are going
to do when you get back into the lab. You could also spend the time
going over an issue that you may be having problems with.
Chit-chatting with the other lab candidates during lunch won't help you
get a number ;-)

Do you know if we are allowed to bring our own lunch to the lab
facility?
I'd rather have a brief snack while keep working on the lab.
