Yes, you can configure a Cisco router as a DHCP client. Try "ip address dhcp" on an Ethernet interface. I believe the command became available on 12.1(2)T or later code.

A router can only be a DHCP server that I am aware of. The Cisco online
documentation covers this pretty well. If you are looking for it to be a
client, I think you are out of luck. That is, unless somebody knows
something in contrary.
