Mark,
I think you're stuck. I've never heard of a way of upgrading. Even if
you could add more memory, there's a good chance that the hardware ASICs,
etc are different and wouldn't run the XL code. You can't create trunks
with the 4 mb switches either. Personally, I'd probably get rid of it, and
look for an XL. If I remember right, if it says 'XL Series' on the front,
it's an 8 mb switch. They all say XL on the back though by the serial
number. Can anyone back me up on this?
