Hi everyone,
Did anyone had a problem enabling "vtp pruning" on 3550 via global config?
I have one 3550 in lab running 12.1(9)EA1a. I wanted to enable pruning via global config command "vtp pruning" on the vtp server but did not see the pruning option.

lab-3550(config)#vtp ?
domain Set the name of the VTP administrative domain.
file Configure IFS filesystem file where VTP configuration is stored.
interface Configure interface as the preferred source for the VTP IP updater
address.
mode Configure VTP device mode

From vlan database configuration it is OK.

ab-3550(vlan)#vtp pruning
Pruning switched ON
lab-3550(vlan)#

Am I missing something or is it an IOS issue ?
