Ethernet Redundance vs DLSw+ Load Balancing

Considering that Token Ring is no longer a part of the CCIE lab anymore,
would it be fair to assume that regular DLSw+ load balancing is not a
valid configuration method anymore? By load balancing I mean using
"cost" and "dlsw duplicate-path-bias load-balance".

I believe that the only way to load-balance DLSw+ when ethernet is
involved is to use "DLSW Ethernet Redundacy" with optional switch
support feature.

Could someone please comment / confirm ?
