Aidan,
So a normal Analog phone can be plug directly into the 3550s????
Also, what is the difference between these 4 models?? If they all do voice
VLANs, which one is the cheapest to get??

the SMI will do voice VLAN, but EMI features are up for testing.
NM modules have nothing to do with IP phones. Their purpose is to connect
with non-IP infrastructure, unless you were referring to
FXS/FXO<-->79XX/VOIP. I think only the 7940/7960 have the 3 port switch (2
physical ports, 1 internal to the phone). The new 7905G does not have a
10/100 for your PC. This info is on CCO for any more details.
