sys-wish project bugs used to be a good way. This is less so nowadays,
better to get your local SE to open up a product enhancement request (PERS)
reviewed by the business unit responsible for the product.
As for the specific request for nvgen'ing symbolic names (dns) instead of
IP addresses, there is already a sys-wish for this:
CSCds53261 - (RFE) Provide option to NVGEN IP addrs (& masks?) symbolically
