Hi Fadil
Did you go through this:-)
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/fun_c/fcprt1/fcd102.htm
Regarding your questions, Please see comments In line:
>1- I want to use autoinstall over HDLC do I need to use the ip-helper address
>command if the TFTP server is on another segment? (CCO does not mention such a
>thing)
TFTP server on different/another segment, It doesn't matter if the existing
router (where you will be configure Auto-install feature) know how to reach
TFTP server ip address.
>2- If I use p2p frame-relay subinterface do I need a frame-relay map ? and Why
>?
For P2P sub interfaces you should use "frame-relay interface-dlci dlci
option [protocol ip ip-address] " (Again in Cisco documentation they have
clearly mentioned both for P2P and Multipoint sub interfaces.
>3- Is there a way to create a file on the router named network-confg other
>than getting it via TFTP?
