Probably a personal/religious issue, but I like to do each section on all
devices sequentially. In other words, get your IP addresses and interfaces
up and connected, then do your OSPF area by area, then...

But I'm a 2-day-lab CCIE, so things may have changed to some extent with
the physical stuff pre-plumbed.
