Well we're sort of working with apples and oranges here. Though DLSW can
work with ethernet attached hosts, it is only concerned with implementing a
virtual token-ring bridged network Spanning tree is not utilized by DLSW in
any of its functions, because DLSW is does not implement any sort of
Ethernet bridged network. DLSW provides the feature of translating Ethernet
frames into token ring frames, but again no element of spanning tree affects
this translation. When you do a "show bridge" or "show spanning-tree" the
router would correctly report that it is the root of its own ethernet, but
this does not have anything to do with DLSW or even the token-ring bridged
network DLSW supports.
