What I have setup is a firewall with a promiscous port mapped to 10 11,12
other pvlans 50 51 and 50 52
A router that is trunked to vlans 11 and 51
and a router trunked to vlans 12 and 52
Another laptop on pvlan 10 12 can talk to either the router or the firewall,
but the routers trunked port can't talk to the fw's promiscous port. Is this
normal?
If I talk a second non-trunked port on the router and put it in vlan 10 12,
then leave vlan 52 on the trunk
I can add a route to the firewall and get all the way from the firewall across
the router to the node on community vlan 52.
I have tried both dot1q and isl triunks.
Anyone seen a trunk carrying secondary private vlans work to a promiscous
port?
