I purchased Cisco 4500M router with 32M memory and 16M
flash, when I tried to config BGP, it said:
Router(config)#router bgp 20
Router(config)#
00:24:28: %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of
65536 bytes failed from 0x603A
947C, alignment 0
Pool: Processor Free: 2560 Cause: Not enough free
memory
Alternate Pool: None Free: 0 Cause: No Alternate
pool
There is no any other config on it.
Do I need to upgrade memory for it to support BGP?
Thanks for help.
Best Wishes,
